Angle your brush so the bristles are flat with the sill or get your ladder out!

I think this is where a Flip Fast comes in handy.

you really need to give them a good going over mate , practice on your own downstairs sills and try and get that same angle you will be getting on upstairs sills then you can see how the bristles are lying and performing on the sills

I give sills a going over and rinse after scrubbing glass , then after i have rinsed glass i give them another quick scrub find this is the best method as i have had the odd complaint in the past , hope this helps  Mike

i think the problem I've got is that I'm only 5 foot two and i  :-[just can't get the reach I think the taller you are the easier it is to clean the windowsills

next complaint say sure and pull out a microfibre and walk towards the door, and when they say what you doing? say going upstairs to wipe your sills it will only take a minute ;) at this point they say oh don't bother I can do that myself, I just thought your fancy brush could do it :o

I have a applicator attached to me old xtel pole, First thing i do is get this out and then soak it with water a squeegee off chemical.
Reach the top sills give it a good wiping over, Then back with the water fed pole and clean windows. The water from pole seems to rinse sill and chemicals of while i am cleaning frame and windows.
Final sill brush wipe the sill upstairs. Then hope

They seem to like the extra effort

Ionics do a new brush with bristles at the bottom to do the sills.

Simple solution.  Politely point out that you can't see the tops of the upstairs sills.  Can they take alook while you're there to check that you've got the lot?  Be courteous; they have every right to expect you to do the job properly.  Just let them know that you'll need their help.

Alternatively, angle the brush down and scrub them for five times longer than you think you need to.  You only need to do it properly once, then a wipe will do it.

Could always use a sill brush to help ya along.

At least your windows are clean they can look out as far as the sill  ;D ;D ;D

Get your ladders out the first time you clean a customer and make sure you clean the sills properly....yeh yeh we know the next bit ...."why would i do that when i am wfp".....well the reason we do it is so that we can guarantee the customer gets a proper job done......
wfp is a tool to use and so are ladders...so all you nancy boys out there who get complaints every now and again (you wait and see how many will deny that one) should expect it if you dont/cant use all the tools of the trade. :)
