I have just done the van tax online. How flippin cool is that service. Done in 5 mins.

The old way

1: stamp about looking for documents (20mins)
2: Driving in heavy traffic and rain. (20 mins)
3: waiting and paying for parking space (5 mins)
4: Standing in a steamy queue behind ten damp geriatrics, two yuppies and a weird lookind dude with a gyro who looks like he would like to jump off the nearest carpark. (anything upwards of 20 mins)
5: Finally arriving at the counter and finding the cashier coughing and spluttering all over the counter and documents. (2 tic's)
6: being sent home again to fetch the most up to date mot cert/insurance doc/log book. (2 tic's)
7: looking for correct document (anywhere between an hour to several days)

8: follow steps 1-5 (65mins 2 tic's)
9: Watch helplessly as cashier snots and coughs all over the doc's for a couple of minutes, before looking you up and down and wondering if you really are who you say you are.
10: emerge triumphantly carrying a tiny piece of paper that cost over £200.

Takes a good couple of hours...............:)

We call Squeaky 'Broken Flask' 'cos once when he was seen shopping somewhere, his excuse for not working that day was, "I can't work, I've broken me flask!"
