dilema which 1
« on: May 23, 2011, 07:07:36 pm »
hi all not wanting to start a debate about which is best just after some good advice

option 1
a brand new pure freedom 2 man hot set up

option 2
a ex demo ionics thermo pure

option 3
buy ians pro 5 and fit either ionics hot box or pure freedom hot box

there is hardly any difference in price between all 3 options

so if anyone has past experiance with any of these systems i would be happy to hear them hoping to place my order this week.

thanks
dave

I haven't used the Ionics thermopure but have used the purefreedom hot 2 man set up and think it is a fantastic system. Don't own one yet but given the choice that is what I would go for, Just my opinion though.  ;)

my mate has a ionics thermopure and said its really dear to run around £200 a month but you can run on red. after care crap and parts are dear.  purefreedom cheaper and after care probley better i would get new then then you now how its been looked after regards carl.

i am leaning towards new but as i only need a di setup the ionics is a lot eaisier to change the filters rather than filling di cylinders

thanks anyway carl.

ionics resin canisters are very expensive, you would be better off with the PF one and change the resin your self, get 2 DI vessels, then it will reduce the frequency that you need to change the resin.

How about the pro 5 and then fitting the fogwash system. It would be a lot cheaper to run. Otherwise I'd say option 1 as I'm pretty sure that the pure freedom hotbox is an on demand system.
