Hello,
I would need some advice please.
I have started window cleaning not long ago. Doing it all trad.
I get customers coming in, doing leafleting and knocking and this is going well.
Decided to get a back pack as I have been advised, started to look around and I think I could buy a trolley instead.

Now would it be a good investment ? or will I put it away after I will be moving on and buying a van ? or can I still get very good use of that trolly?

Can I easily put it in the back of my Citroen Estate ?

I was looking at this product from pure freedom

is there any alternatives to this product  ? for about the same price ?

pure freedom trolleys are fantastic and are very well made.

i have the 50L TROLLEY SYSTEM.i use a van and 10-12 barrels a day(250-300L).takes around an hour to fill up with pure in the evening(DI ONLY AS IVE ONLY GOT 30TDS FROM MY TAP).

you will need 30m of extension hose  so you can use it as a mini van mount as well for stand alone jobs.

i have lots of very compact estate work with parking issues so the trolley is ideal for me.

if you have lots of scattered work then a van mount would be better.the trolley would be a nightmare i would imagine!!think long and hard and do your research on here first before taking the plunge is my advice.

The pure freedom seems to be the trolley of choice.If you've got £500 to spend on one then that's what I would go for.I played it cheap and went for a 35l trolley from ebay and regret it now.Only cost £200 odd but the flow controller on the unit broke off on literally the first day of use.The hassle of having to fill it up manually from the barrels is a constant pain in the backside whereas with the p/f one you just switch barrels and off you go.To be fair it's got me out of trouble now for a year or so but life would be much easier with a p/f type one and that's what I will go for next.I also use an estate car at the moment with no problems.Again,not ideal but get's the job done for the stage I'm at in the window cleaning game.

edit-sorry I see it's the 50 litre one you mention,the 25 litre one costs £500.

My advice is simple... Don't do it, if I were you I would stay trad until you get a van and put a syatem in the back of that, or you could even get a small tank and a pump for the back of your car, which would be a better way of working and cheaper than a trolley!!

Could I convert my troley and use it for a van mound at the time when I can aford to buy van mount ? thats what pure freedom says "Should you decide to move to a van mounted system the only additional equipment required is the a tank and hose. Everything that is needed to work a tank mount is already there on your Pure Freedom® Trolley"

Slightly off topic. How many houses would a 25 litre barrel clean?. I am guessing at 2 average semi detached?

yes you could viktor.just add a tank and hose/reel if you find you want to go van mount at a later stage.plus for the awkward access accounts just detach trolley and you have best of both worlds.also its easy to bring inside during the winter months so no freezing pumps and no messing about with van heaters!!

I am have an estate car. So to get a van mount, I would need to buy a van which makes it not affordable for me.
Unless I can put some kind of system into my estate car as this car is used only for work?

A small tank and a pump would take up less room than a trolley and ten 25ltr containers knocking about in the back!! Just get a small tank.. 200ltrs or more if your car can take the weight, get yourself a pump and a hose reel with 100mtrs of hose and a pole, and you have a great little system!! cheaper than a trolley and much much better!!!

Didn't look at the prices Tosh, I was just showing the guy what he needed!! I got my Storage tank 7 years ago, and I have no idea what I paid for it!!

I bought a Freedom trolley in 2006 and it is still working in my van and for the most part it just sits there humming away feeding my pole water for the van tank....when needed I disconnect it thrown on a 25 litre barrel and away I go...it's the best of both worlds...it's portable and static when needed...given my time again I would still go this route...install GEKA style quick connects and a few ball-valves and it's easy peasy lemon squeezy...it's just a trolley, battery & controller..simples.
