A stand on the carnival
« on: May 22, 2011, 06:14:53 pm »
Hi all,

I have a stand on my local carnival and hopefully get some new business. I am getting raffle tickets and have asked local businesses to donate a price for the raffle this has gone very well and have some very nice prizes.
I have a 6ft - 2ft banner advertising my business and flyers on the table with a clip board to take names and address of quotes.

Has anyone tried this ? And if so how did you get on ?

Cheers Darren

If you have a raffle you could raffle a clean or two as a prize.... ;)
if it is dirty it is fair game

A couple of years ago our 'round table' were running stalls at our yearly festival in Witney Oxfordshire. I told the rep that I was interested in having a stall. He looked delighted.... until I told him I was a window cleaner! His face dropped. Snobbery at its finest!
