booster pump help please tec guys
« on: May 21, 2011, 02:52:42 pm »
I have today tried to put my mates booster pump on his system but it has made no differents to the pressure at all here are some pics

Now the problem is that it is running slow like it needs a flow controler to speed it up.

Its wired into a 24v transformer /
I seem to remember that the one i had years a go was wired straight in to the mains
can i do that with this one? And will it make it run faster if i do or will i blow it up
can any one tell me if for a start he has the right pump?

Thanks guys
Andy

You cannot wire strait in the mains you will kill the pump as mains is 230/240 volt and your pump is 24 volt as previously said adjust the screw switch . the think that I CAN SEE THAT MIGHT A PROBLEM IS THE PUMP DELIVERS LESS THAT I LITRE PER MINUTE, Which ro do you have .My pump only increases pressure by 15 psi but it does make a difference.
