Hi Rob,
No i dont have a cscs card but have spent a few years working on a large site/ plant environment. I hold a High level IPAF license and counterbalance forklift license most work i carried out onsite was with use of cherrypickers & Scissorlifts. I didnt do an NVQ but dont know if experience counts as equivalent?
Is that any good for what i need?
Tim.

Unfortunately experience means nothing on my works. The CSCS card is a simple multiple choice questionnaire that you sit and do local to you, in front of a computer monitor.

They are common sense questions that with your experience should be easy to pass.

I go onto about 40 sites per year and I know everyone on them but I still have to present my CSCS card and IPAF license to the security guards (who I also know) before I can start work. I have to have video inductions and site specific chats.

It gets a little tedious but I am also grateful for the level I am working at so I just put up with it. I also understand why they do it.

The test costs about £18.00 and from my perspective if you are working at the highest level then I could easily utilise you on my works because of your proximity to London & the South East.

Give me a ring tomorrow 07919 425664

I have worked from Durham down to where you are, London & Kent (and most places in between) but am getting more busy and get a great deal of work in the London area.

I have been to Debden in Loughton twice this week, am in Kempston from Wednesday to Friday and Broadstairs for one day on Monday or Tuesday.

All supermarket refurbishment, extension, new build - external cleaning, high & low level.

This is industrial cleaning, pressure washing, cladding cleaning, drain jetting, chewing gum removal etc.

Physically demanding & often no notice. I would not want to employ women on these works. Many thanks

ah ok, i thought you were doing the builders cleans to the insides aswell, i'm not geared up for the high pressure drain stuff, jet washing etc yes but i dont hold IPAF either.

If you get any internal works though I'm your man. we can cream it.

Regards

Mark
