Even then the scrapper is next to useless.

If used with the pole at angle of 45° and the brush head turned upside down the scraper will engage with the glass quite effectively. In usual use I just angle it upside down on to one corner of the scraper and find that this is sufficient.

Within a few weeks there will be a smaller brush socket attachment which will allow the scraper to be utilised even with a plastic angle adapter fitted.

To be honest though any plastic scraper is going to have a limited efficiency when compared with a proper metal scraper blade. When having these built we decided it was worth having it on the brush as opposed to not having it on - better than nothing!

It is a fine cleaning brush and I use it daily. The weight is superb to work with but the bow on the stalk makes all but the very edge of the machined part scraper useless. I will however buy more when needed.

Glad to hear it's getting regular use  :) - The latest batches do not have this slight bow on the stock.
Even with a slight bow on the stock (I also have several older brushes), I can still get all of the scraper face in contact with the glass, but I have to step back slightly to get the right angle on the pole.

When will the new brushes be available (where the scraper can be used with the standard plastic socket).

I use the black with with the normal socket and have used the scraper about twice for removing really hard bird muck to one side like alex said and it does work fine.

It's not a socket mate. The extreme brush is angled all along it's top side to make it scrape when turned upsidedown. You turn it upsidedown by turning your pole 180 degrees, you don't have to take the brush of or anything.

The Xtreme brushes are fantastic! I'm knocking time off jobs left right & centre by using them. It makes you realise that you never actually needed a brush any bigger or heavier in the first place! ;)

Yes i know,

But the reason for me getting the extreme was to simply reduse the weight
