Interesting site to check out www.intecprotection.com
They supply to manufacturers /suppliers who offer protection service for about £1.10 sq/m to  retailers. Notice their client list.

What I was getting at is a slight change from years ago from retailers offering guardsman etc to the manufacturers /suppliers offering it on cut orders to the retailers at a price we wuld struggle to compete with. I charge £1.50 mtr which doesnt make it that profitable but worthdoing, wouldnt like to do it for much less.
Also the carpets some tend to shy away from ie crucial trading stuff are being protected by them prior to delivery , again at round £1.10 - £1.25 mtr.
The retailers I deal with would rather use me cos they see me actually doing it so if a customer asks they can say for definite It has been done by me.
