Ive sorted mine now with the hole just a bit above the section i fitted. I also cut down the original sections inside the pole so i can close it properly as it had a right long closed length with the added bit.

Also fitted the bentley broom to make it lighter  ;D

i have had mine upto 45ft,still fafing about a little so im going to buy another pole and use that as the daily pole and keep the other for the three storeys etc
