Cool thats not so bad then, as its about £80 so wanted to see how far that would go, makes you wonder how bad our drinking water acually is hey.

Im nearly sorted now, just need to get me pure freedom trolley, and gardiner pole, going for the 50L one.

i can see the pros n cons of the 50 ltr trolley.

i guess if you think how many wcs on here use it then that would give you a rough idea but to my small knowledge it just dazmond that uses the 50ltr trolley.

it would be good for com work but could be a pain for small space houses ...

esr16 from john hewiits site is a very handy backpack for those tighter jobs.

im sure a good 80% use a van mount but its not a bad idea to start with a trolley as if you moved onto a tank then the trolley is always handy at times.

funds are tight then i would maybe start with a backpack for a few months to earn money then go from there??

def dont get a cheap pole tho!

start with a good pole - slx or if cheaper option clx.

purefreedom starter kits aint too bad for the price mate, tank hose reel etc ...

i thought pf did a starter kit for £600 odd??

the trolley must be over £400??

if you think about mate - you could have a top of the range fitted system or a cheap backpack, but the results are the same! pure water up a pole onto the glass for you to clean it!

with a tank - no mucking about with changing water containers over etc ....

with a backpack or trolley - have to change the water every so many houses but easy to move about customers houses.

so pros n cons to both ways really but the end results are the same - clean windows - happy customers and money in the sky rocket.

i think a cheap bp to get you start could help you out alot.

doesnt cost the earth and by the time you have done a few months with wfp you will earn enough cash to see what you want to do and what suits and your work.

Is this the same as how hard your water is or what size vessel you got like 10inch upto the biggest resin vessel????

As I would assume need changing sooner than 6 Months like mine is every 3 Months.. ;D ;D ;D

my guys use the esr16 from john hewitts site (extend to wash)

its the same backpack as the one on window cleaning warehouse site (v2 backpack)

johns prices are cheaper  tho!!

prob is like most popluar bits of kit ie gardiners poles (always low on stock)

starting with a backpack is good - low costs, easy to pick up and carry around the houses.

then after a few months see where you are from there and buy what you feels best for you.

easy to use a bp - just have a 15m length of hose - pick it up - do the front. then pick it up and do the back.

biggest negative of a backpack is it only hold limited water - so prob only do a house or two before having to spend about 1 minute filling it back up - so not that bad.

biggest positive over a trolley - no weight and much better and quicker to move around.

tank system - spend 3 mins winding in the hose but never have to muck about with water.

so every system has pros and cons, all im saying is if starting out with tight funds then a bp can help you get started mate

a 25 ltr sack will do a few resin changes over the year, so depends on how big the vessel is.

so yes resin could need changing every 3 months but the question was how long does a 25ltr sack last

connection on bp would be a rectus 21 or gardiners call it ez snap (same thing tho)

8m microbore hose - get that at all the suppliers.
