I have just installed new filters into my RO system for the first time but cannot remember if the flush tap has to be in the FLOW position for a minimum of 2 hours to dispose of all water output? (silly question? ::))Can anyone please confirm this? Many thanks.

You are correct the flush valve on the RO will need to be set to the open position to allow any sediment etc. to flush past the RO membrane without clogging it up.
