sounds like you need to rinse more mate!is it spotting?i use a trolley and use a high flow.in this warm weather you need to use more water.scrimping on water is not gonna give you a good finish mate!

Have you checked your TDS after DI?
Have you checked your TDS after brush jets?
Do you clean frames and cills every clean.
Have you been rinsing enough?
Is your brush contaminated in any way?

Very true! Don't be miserly with the water. It needs to have the weight in it to float the dirt to the bottom of the glass and sheet. In this weather, if it doesn't have the volume or weight to make it to the end it will leave streaks as the dirty water has run and cannot make it any further.
Spots in the middle - not enough scrubbing.

yes daz, its spotting around the bottoms and on one glass pain it was slightly around the edge too!
do you only pole 1st floor and above daz or are you 100% w.f.p?

my method of maintenence clean poling is quick little scrub on frames, then one scrub on glass quick rinse then 2 or 3 scrubs on sills

its hard to describe my working method in words but what is your poling method like? and how many ltrs of water would you use for 1st floor average 3 bed semi?

thanks mate

when i read your post i think i just had a "light bulb" moment  :)

ive actually never thought about it before but...

1) the window has dirt on it

2) i scrub the dirt with brush head

3) i rinse the dirt that has now mingled with the water to become dirty water

so, if im not scrubbing and rinsing enought the dirty (and no doubt high ppm) water is gonna leave hard water marks of the glass  :-[

WHOOPS

looks like i'll be getting my ladders out alot in the near future for some hard water mark removal  :-[

god im stupid  :'(

i always rinse brush off after a good scrub of the window making sure i rinse all the way down from the top edge.in this weather with all the dust about ive been rinsing twice on dirty windows.

my flow control is on 60 all the time.i use 5 mm extension hose and pencil jets.water is always 000.

im about 80% WFP/20% TRAD and use 250-300L ON A FULL DAY.

I very rarely get any problems apart from the odd leaky seal here and there.

one of my windows at home is very dirty it rained the other day and the rain spotted the dirt along the bottom of the glass.

so to test my theory i have just buffed the dirty water marks off with a scrim and they same off easy! so why as my PURE water stained my custys glass? it wont buff out ive tried?

im very confused about dirty water and ppm of dirty water  ???

You have created the dirty/hard water via the pure dissolving the muck on the window and not rinsed it off properly, allowing it to collect at the bottom. Simple as that.

to use 300L on a full day i would have to work 7 hours on the glass to be coming home empty!i was pleasantly surprised when i realised i didnt need 500L A DAY because some of you were saying before i went wfp id run out at lunchtime with only 250L! ;D ;D ;D

There must be something seriously wrong with your pump then Dazmond!!!!! I have a 400ltr tank at the moment, but as soon as I get a bigger van I'm going to fit it with two 500ltr tanks so I can work all day without having to refill!!
