In response to the original post, the more expensive carbon fibre poles are the way to go. Although they will cost you more the ease of use will make you work a lot faster and there for the pole will help pay for itself.
I'd stick with the gardiners pole range, simple reason being is that they are ahead of the game. The fact that other companies copy what they do (ie ionics, lateral clamp) is evidense that they are ahead of the rest.
I think an ideal length pole for domestic is 25ft but if you like an even smaller closed length the 22 is nice.
The sections are very easy to remove.

and their new poles are far better quality
the problem you have with gardiners they make and sell cheap stuff
with them going down the road of charging more for poles
the changes are going to have to be big
the original poster also said cheap
so i would recommend jeff's brimble's pole
as for working faster that has far more to do with the brush than the pole
if you want speed go with the aerial brush
