Does it exist?

i am looking for a Lightweight, strong, durable pole.
I want it to be around 17'-18' for general work but with the ability to have sections added (easily) to take it to about 26'-27' for 3 storey work.

I would prefer to add the extra length rather than work with a longer pole or carry 2 poles.

Does such a pole exist? if not what is the closest option. Oh yeh I forgot to add, it needs to be as cheap as possible

SLX 30ft. Take a couple of sections off & buy a butt cap for the section which is left.

Don't handicap yourself with a heavy, bendy pole which may be cheaper to buy!

I have a 28ft grafter pole, you could use this sort of pole like you are saying.

It is in 6 sections, but you could remove 2 of the sections to make it about an 18ft, and just slide them others on when needed.  You would probably need to put a rubber end cap on the bottom.

I paid £203 for this pole and imo its a good pole, folds down nice and small.

When I bought it, it was a toss up between this and an extel pole which was about the same price.  I'm not sure if you can remove individual sections on the extel though.

25ft SLX with aqua-daptor and supalite brush.itll cost you around £400-00 but itll be worth it! i  use it for everything.domestic/commercial and 3 story work and ground floor windows.

dont buy cheap fibre glass poles as you run the risk of damaging your shoulder muscles or another serious injury if you use poles day in/day out.

make your working day as easy as possible mate.

I didn't like the aqua-daptor.  It's heavy, it spoilt the superlight, and I prefer working with an external hose.  With good quality hose (not the stuff that comes with a Gardiner pole) it's easy to nip the pole hose and it cuts off the water supply no problem at all.

Why pay £60 when you can just nip the hose and you haven't got that brick on the end of your pole?

what you doing with yours now then tosh?ive got used to mine now.great not to have the loop at the end of pole.tried pinching the hose but found that even more of a pain than the loop!

If you're working with an internal pole hose, then pinching the hose will be a pain; it needs to be external and you can grab any handy bit of it.  Also, that yellow pole hose that comes with a superlight is naff; it won't stop the flow.  The red pole hose from the aquadapter is good stuff.  That pinches and stops the flow.

Maybe it takes a little practise, but it's better.  

I also like the way I can remove the brush head and just work with that where space is tight.

It's also easier to extend and lower the pole with external hose.

And it doesn't flap about.  You just hold the hose and the pole.

I like the look of those Jeff, am i right in thinking they are an adapted pole from fishing?
The thing I have always wondered with those is does each section need to be either fully in or fully extended or can you part extend like a telescopic?

I am not sure how they clamp, do you have a video showing it in more detail?

Gotta say durable, light and cheap = harris pole and you can add sections to it. Jouk said section 4 i think it was of xtel pole fits, so you could buy sections 4 & 5 and have them to hand to slide on. Those sections are only about £20 i believe so for under £50 odd youd get what your looking for.

£15 for pole, takes minutes to make it up.

Not fishing - kite poles, lots of them about but the Ninja stays up better than most. 4ft extensions but its possible to hold the last "joint" anywhere. Its a tough belt and braces pole, non conducting and clean to use.

i guess i generalised a bit which was unfair. i looked on your site and the size of poles i am interested in appeared to be out of stock and no notice on there to say when there would be any.

You should add to that:
Although not intended to advertise, you will notice that this post has basically that exact effect, but I'm hoping that by putting this lame sentence at the bottom it will make people less likely to moan about it.  Also, maybe it will distract attention from the fact that once again I'm using CIU like my own personal message board, like I've been told off about before.  One day I will stop basically spamming ciu with messages or i might even (shock horror) pay to advertise like other people do, but until then I'll just passively promote my gear on here for free, while trying to cover it over with ridiculous caveat at the bottom for as long as i can get away with it.
