JUST BOUGHT SOME WORK
« on: April 27, 2011, 07:13:22 pm »
Just bought £500 worth of work off my mate,   some of it he has been doing for 18 years and I helped him clean some of it today and met some of my new custys.

he sold it to me for ...   £1000    all on 6 weekly

I'm well pleased  :D

he has been planning to sort it out for months as he is snowed under and has actually stopped taking work on which is great for me as when someone calls him he gives them my number.

if I was back living in Liverpool £500 worth of work would have cost me about £5000

Ian.

I was born and bred down scottie road mate,  moved to walton when I was 21  and also lived in tuebrook and then back to Everton where my daughter still lives.

was up there last weekend  only to read in the Echo that terry from brooky has been charged with murder,

believe it or not he was actually gonna give me the work for free and it was me who insisted I gave him a bag of sand for it as a token gesture and thank you..

he was telling me that about 8 years ago he had a load of large houses in an affulent area which he had been doing for a few years.
but because it was a few miles away and he had picked up so much work much closer to home he catually wrote them all a letter to say he could no longer clean their windows ( over £600 worth of work )
