Daz I've been unimpressed too, I think it cleans ok, but the quality of the brush is poor, and the bristle quality is poor, here is a picture if my brush after 7 days of work.

What do others xtremes look like? Have I got a bad one or are they all like this.

you can't expect any sympathy if you spent £20 on that
any experienced window cleaner will tell you
the bristle splay width is just as important or even more important as the length of the brush
removing nearly half the bristles just to make it light
and expecting it to clean as quick is daft

as far as i'm conceren the pictures says it all
lee if you do go back to the aerial brush
you need to use it properly
it took me a while to get use to it and im not new to wfp
you should be getting faster and faster and i do mean faster
you wont find a faster brush to use
you either can clean windows with it fast or you can't clean windows
its a proper piece of wfp kit
and that brush in the picture certainly isnt

i mearsured the aerial brush width of splay on the glas its almost 6" inches and stays that way in use
i did the same with the superlight double trim it barely manages 3"inches of splay before it goes out of shape
if you go back to using the extreme brush, good luck your going to need it
because your competiton wont be using that brush

Alex, I think you will find the competition will be using the xtreme brush, as a lot o members on here have one and love them.

I have never said it doesn't clean well, or anything about the splay, it cleans just as well and just as quick as my aerial brush, but it is half the weight, that is why it's such a good brush.

Your oppinion about brushes is very one sided, the majority on here use gardiners brushes and think they are great, so who is right the vast majority of forum members? Or the one of you?

I have never complained about the brushes cleaning ability, number of bristles, splay, wieght. its performance, i asked if other peoples xtremes have worn in they way that mine has, and it turns out that the answer is NO. So i must have a bad brush, i have also never complained about the way the aerial brush cleans either, so no i wont be giing it away, because that too is a good brush.

I am just more balance and unbiased in my opinions of brushes.

Don't suppose you'll be complaining about Gardiners on this thread eh Craig?  ;)

Just wonderd how many people would be as understanding if this was about brodex,  no complaining, tell me why would I complain?

It comes down to customer service too, if brodex had good after sales like gardiners, then maybe people would be more understanding of them.

That looks bad.  I would definately be asking for money back, the product is clearly not up to the job.

I have used a few brushes, vikan are not bad if you dont mind the fluffy bristle ends, a bit heavy maybe, but hard wearing.  Ionics brushes are good, also hard wearing and the bristles are densley packed which i like.  Not heard of the aerial brush, what is it?

Dave, I felt the same, I think because it's so light and the bristles are soft it give the illusion that its not doing much, but it cleans perfectly well.

The owners of Tecbuk must be very embarrassed with Alex's baised views.

i will use the extreme  brush at some point as im not spending any more money until ive worn out my other 2 gardiner brushes!(SL DT MONO/SL DT FLOCKED)! ;D ;D ;D ;D
price higher/work harder!
