review of extreme brush
« on: April 27, 2011, 07:39:25 am »
used it for the first time yesterday.im not impressed really!its too easy to bang the stock against the window frames and its harder to clean the sill without running the stock of the brush along it!maybe im just not used to it!!i think ill stick with the supalite flocked which is a great brush.

someone on here said it was like cleaning a window with a toothbrush!i know what he means now!! ;D ;D ;D ;D

Daz I've been unimpressed too, I think it cleans ok, but the quality of the brush is poor, and the bristle quality is poor, here is a picture if my brush after 7 days of work.

What do others xtremes look like? Have I got a bad one or are they all like this.

wow, imagine what would be said about this brush if it was a brodex brush.

What have you been cleaning lee? I have been using one for just five days but it doesn't look like that. It is starting to fray a little though and def won't last like bigger thicker brushes.

Thats quite shocking Lee, why don't you send the pictures to gardeners? i have only used mine on my own windows and twice yestaday hoping to get a good go with it today and tomorrow to test it think its a good brush cleaning wise but hope it doesn't end up like that over 7days for the price

Lee, it was only a comparison, your not really meant to clean your teeth with it.

Robbie it wasn't my teeth it was my bum  ;D

I've only been doing my normal work with it, nothing more than normal, I cant believe how badly it's worn, we have 2 of these brushes and they both look the same, ive gone back to my aerial brush now.

Hi Lee

Now that you have emailed me these photos, I have emailed you back. We will be looking into this for you. This is the first reported case like this since they have been on sale and naturally we are very interested to have a detailed look at the brushes to see what the issue is.

I seem to remeber some early Ionic brushes looking similar, would flatten out if left leaning against a wall on hot days, any one got any close up pics of similar or other brushes, its interesting !

I'm hoping so, it hasn't been abused, it looks like I've been scrubbing the floor with it, let me know if yours starts going the same way daz.

Used mine today , first impressions its very light, the pole feels brilliant with this brush, it does clean different to the other super light brushes i have ,but once you have adapted your technique i think the brush will come into its own with reduced fatigue & rsi.
