easing myself back into working!
« on: April 18, 2011, 07:43:46 am »
ive worked one and a half days in 2 weeks due to van in garage and sprained ankle.im sick of sitting around doing nothing!my foot is still bruised and sore but been off the crutches since friday so im off out to do a bit today.

ive had a few phone calls off customers wanting extras(soffit/fascia cleans)but ive stalled them until ive caught up a bit.got myself a sports ankle support yesterday so hopefully ill be ok.gonna take it easy though and just do 4 or 5 hours.

might work the whole of the next 2 bank holiday weekends(bar sundays)to catch up if my ankle holds out!! ;D ;D ;D

its been frustrating not working as its piling up now.i think ill feel better if i can just get a half day in today.

regards

im kidding myself here.its pretty painful today.cleaned the van yesterday and went out shopping with the girlfriend in the afternoon.ive decided its too soon to go back yet.i might make the injury worse.so im leaving it until after the easter holidays.hopefully ill be fully fit by then.

gonna go swimming every day this week and just take it easy.i think fretting about my work doesnt do me any good.im hoping most custies dont notice or are not bothered about me getting round late.ive phoned a few here and there so hopefully word will get around.

i find alot of domestic customers are away on hols as kids are off ... so im sure the customers wont moan if you are a little late.

sure the loss of funds is a right pain - bet your sat there wishing it was raining really heavy so makes you feel better.

take the time out! catch up on paperwork, flyer drops ....
