Ionics
« on: April 16, 2011, 11:30:46 am »
Having had a good look through their catalogue that's just landed on my door mat one thing stuck in my mind, " why?? "

I'm not saying that their stuff doesn't look exremely impressive but looking at their systems there does seem to be an awful lot that could potentially go wrong.

Also their 80ft pole, and the need to have a platform to work it from - fine in wide open spaces but we have a few high jobs that, in certain places, have limited space and there's no way you'd fit a frame in there.

That said, if someone were to offer me a free thermo pure system with a 1000l tank I'd snap their arm off; paying that much myself for one may be a different thing all together :o

So, is there anyone on here that has one of their all singing all dancing systems and can tell me if they're all they crack themselves up to be?
Come and talk dirty to us!!!

ive got an ionic system n u r right lots of thins can go wrong with them but they do filter your water very well, the downside if anything goes wrong and you want to stick to there parts etc they charge a fortune, iv bought poles off them n there ok at first do the job but found they werent the best over time

They look the dogs danglies but imo they make them look impressive and over complicate them to get newbys and snobs to part with 5 to 10 times the ammount they actually need to pay for something that does the exact same job. i should add that there is probably a great percentage of people that buy these because they are probably the biggest brand wfp and people assume they are the best quality etc ( WHICH I CANNOT COMMENT ON) and want the best for there business which i understand, but when you look behind the smoke and mirrors there systems are excessively exspensive...IMO.
WE CLEAN BY FAITH, NOT BY SIGHT WITH WATER FED POLE WHEN WORKING AT HEIGHT.

I like ionics, its nice quality stuff. But i would buy pure2o, which is made by ionics but prices are much more down to earth.
