we were asked about a year ago to take over a few as the current wcs were not vat reg.

at the time we couldnt take them on - they said ok no probs we are looking to use a national company in the near future...

Why would being or not being vat registered make any difference?

noticed initial cleaners have the girls doing outside windows as well on a bookies chain with plastic squeegies and cheap pole, poor lass hadn't a clue what she was doing.

My Premiere told me in Decmeber that they had to cancel me for 2 months as the weather was so bad their business lost loads of money and w/c and garderners all the extras were told to hold off for the 2 months. I was told it was across the board. Did this happen to anyone else. I have them back now but dont know for how long.

We drew up our own contract via a solicitor who deals with this sort of thing, as I wasnt prepared to have no contract in place incase this sort of thing happened. Also the pay on the hotels are quite good.

who signed it  was it the individual hotels or premer inn, as you might find that the contract is worth less,  after all you cant make them have there windows cleaned by you,  and all premier inn will say it take it up with the bloke who signed it  as he was signing it with out ther knowledge

If thats the case hopefully they will have to pay you the value of the remaining contract to get out of it  ;D

Unfortunately mine have no contracts in place but we haven't heard of anything as yet
