I agree to an extent Vince.. but Ive got 2 Gardiner poles already and just need something for son to practice with. There are guys here that have had Harris poles for years.

Stu, I noticed this a while back and John has got to be Matt. Sad I know but that is what I think.

Well. I bought a Harris pole yesterday and fitted my spare supalight brush on the end (with angle adapter) drilled a hole near top of the top section for hose and hey presto!
Thats my son fully equiped for some pole lessons tomorrow

Finally someone who listened! Its so much quicker than cutting old end off and faffing round with threads that dont fit in there and come loose in time.

And Vince i disagree with your comment, the harris is a brilliant pole, im not disputing the clx is a good pole either, but i used to have xtel poles and was going through them about every 3 months and at £120 a pop it wasnt funny. I bought my harris over 18 months ago now, £15...and its still going strong, clamps maybe a little loose now but for £15 ill go get another! 

I aint got a bad word to say about them. I cant see you saving any time with having a clx over a harris on any job.

Progress report..

Had 2 fascia cleans and 4 houses to do today. Son loved the Harris pole (after having a go last week with 6 month old Brodex..how they are still selling poles I dont know!!). I gave him a little go on my SLX and he prefered the Harris!

Wish I had listened to the Diy ers years ago!
