New tool for cleaning rooflights
« on: April 14, 2011, 10:33:44 pm »
I had a call a couple of days ago from a customer asking me if I could have a look at 2 of her roof lights, problem is that they have built a new barn conversion next door and its too close to her house and so can not reach the rooflights to clean them,

She got in touch with the manufacturer of the roof lights to ask them how she should clean them given that they cant be turned inside out like velux windows , the reply from them was that they had a tool that she could buy which would aid her in the cleaning of them, so she bought one she didnt tell me how much she paid for this tool
well when she tried to use it she discovered it was not easy and as there were no instructions either asked me if I could help

Well the moment I saw this tool I was gobsmacked If we hadnt already had april fools day I'd think it was a joke

take a look at this

Is it supposed to be that shape?
Or was it straight and ended up like that after she hit the manufacturer over the head with it?  ;D

If she buys a few of them she will be able to have croquet parties on the lawn.
