Find the smallest DI bottle you can; some come ready filled with resin which would be best for you; a cheap pole with brush and hose already connected and long enough to do the job.  You'll need some hose and hose connectors too.

Total cost probably about £150 - £200.

You plug the DI bottle into your outside tap and plug the pole hose into your DI bottle.  Turn on the tap.  The water would go into the bottle and through the resin, getting purified and then out through your hose.  Adjust the flow so it's not jetting out; a nice slowish flow would be good - it'll give the water time to purify in the resin.

Wash windows!

Down the page there, he sells a car washing system.  It comes with a choice of 30ft pole.

Ideal for cleaning terrorist cars at a checkpoint perhaps?

[Thats got to be the biggest rip off to date.  If you live in a high TDS area the resin wont last two miniutes.  If you know how to calculate resin you will know what I am talking about. Get a window cleaner you know it makes sense.

;D I know but I like when folk waste money to save a few quid on a window cleaner. but to be fair it will work he will just need to replace resin very often but if he only uses it once a month on the couple of windows it may not be to bad depending on tds
