Hi am struggling to do windows above conservatorys i use a unger pole with visa/versa i wet it well with water with little drop of soap but it leaves white lines everywhere even tryed battrey water still happans can you tell me if its me or the water please

this aint any help to you but thats why most trad guys dont do above connys as the window is normally to far away to get a good finish and will take about 10 mins to do the window,all you can do is tell the custy you will do the window but the finish wont be as good,you would be better off going either side of the conny and just using normal squeegee and go in straight pulls across the window,you need be charging a few extra £'s for that 1 window

Hi just found out my mate as just set up so hes going to give me 25 lts of pure water to try hopefully that will work what do you think

If the window has an overflow pipe above it for the water tank in the loft the glass might have mineral deposit staining. Failing that it could also be that if you are in a hard water area someone in the past has tried to clean the window with water straight from a hosepipe which again could leave mineral deposits.
Do you think its your technique or do you think one of the above suggestions is possible?

It'S a lot of practice to get it right if at all you can get it right! I always do the outside from inside when I come across these.

to be honest, when I was trad all awkward windows were left and I charged less money or if it could be done with a pole I always explained it might not be perfect
