Hi
Whats the daily average one can realisticly expect doing this after the first 3 months of business, I have read, up to £180 per day for an established business, I am thinking its prob more like £60-£100 per day.

I am trying to draw up a business plan and need an estimate of earnings so I can have some idea of what is actually possible against my own earning goals.

So after 3 months?

and what would it look like after 5 years of trading?

Looking for some honest figures here so I have an idea, as kinda in the dark.

I know it can be variable, but looking for a mean average among the posters on here.

Many thanks :-)

1st month = 30 x £10 customer = £300

2nd month = 50 x £10 customer = £500  (30 previous customers from 1st month plus 20 news ones)

3rd month = 80 x £10 customer = £800  (50 previous customers from 1st and 2nd months pluse 30 new ones)

It's very piece of string, as Trippy says.

£60 - £100 for an established business?????

You may as well go back to working for someone mate; your original figure is closer to the truth for an established business I promise :)

If you work hard and have a decent round £180 per day is easily achievable; maybe not every single day due to the weather, but certainly more days than not.

But it will take time and wont happen over night.

well thats nice to know thier is that much scope to earn that much, so its easy to get £100-£120 then hey.

If you have absolutely no business acumen and are prepared to work for peanuts, it certainly will take years.

Can you afford to canvass for 6-8 weeks without earning?

I did this when I started and built a £2,000 a month round to get me started. It was a hard few months but in just over 2 years my rounds more than doubled..........It will take some hard work but if you want  it the works out there.

I used to be a postman for 8 years and did'nt have a stable round, therefore covering a large area within 3 large villages in the local district,I liked it that way because everyday was different, thats when I started putting my leaflets through their door along with their mail,Royal Mail done me a massive favour!

i would like to swear but I will get told off so I wont, £180 a day five days a week equals £46800 per year, now I seriously doubt very many have that much work after years and years let alone after just 3 months. Business acumen.....please
