My daughter says you are expensive..

... and not to recommend you to anyone.

Four months ago I am cleaning the windows opposite this lady. She asks me if I would clean hers and said her last window cleaner stopped coming around. On questioning it emerges it's because she sent him away once saying she didn't want them done. I suggest to her that possibly that is why he didn't come back. Anyway, she says the last guy charged her £20 for every other month, so I say I will do them for that. It's a good price.

So today she comes out with my money and says her daughter has a bigger house and only pays £16. I say how often does she have them done... she says monthly. So I point out that I'm actually cheaper yet still keep her windows clean. Anyway, I get on and start thinking. So as I'm leaving I knock again and offer to clean her windows for £15. ..... Monthly. Oh no she says, we'll stick with the existing arrangement.

yeah but when she saying daughter has a bigger house:

is that bigger by bedroom numbers ie 3 bed, 4 bed ....

or

by the number of windows to clean?

ALWAYS stick with your prices!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

when i get customers trying that one i just say:

'so you are asking me to take a pay cut?'

I did for two monthly. But monthly at £15 would be better right now as I don't have a full round. I always add more for two monthly.

had a custy a year or so ago, was £20/month - "can you do them every 2 months instead"?  "yes but it'll be £40" I jokingly replied - she accepted!!

I'm no robber so I told her of her error and promptly repriced at £30

suits me.
I've never been to bed with an ugly bird but I've woken up with loads!

yeah she did - I said it as a joke and she obviously isn't too hot with her maths.
