New carpet cleaning franchise to hit our shores soon
« on: April 06, 2011, 09:02:22 am »
http://www.oxifresh.com/

This the fastest growing cleaning franchise in the US and came out 3rd overall as the fastest growing franchise in America.

Brilliant marketing and what an achievement in the current economic climate.

Look at their 'WE ARE TAKING OVER CARPET CLEANING' section.

I bet it wont be long before it arrives over here.

There are several US Franchises

Is Heavens Best still going/

I think unless they invest in Call Centres , getting contracts , etc they will struggle to keep their Franchise Operator

The only reason to invest is

Known Brand  which this is not.

Customer Supply

and proven marketing system

Lot easier to set up a franchise operation in the states due to much larger population and higher percentage of people who have regular cleaning. Couldn't find much info off there site but looks similar to chem dry with low pressure and creating ozone rather than carbon dioxide. Again just a really good marketing operation which at the end of the day is what a carpet cleaning business needs to be.

i don't see what they're doing that is so good? sounds to me like they are normal green steam carpet cleaners that use products that require less steam then others. i've only done a quick read so could be wrong

If I was to get a carpet cleaner in to do my flat I would want one that uses extra bubbles and not normal common water like you do.
We all know that oxygen is very corrosive and even eats steel using the rust mites that live in it. This extra oxygen means all stains instantly vanish so no need for any chemicals any more. Also as the bubbles rise up through the pile it stretches the fibre making it longer, so no need for a grooming rake either.

We're staring the future of carpet cleaning in the face, suggest you add a Soda Stream to your machine a bit quick.

Us vs. Steam Cleaning

Steam cleaned carpets can take 24 hours or longer to dry. This annoyingly long dry time is a result of the large amounts of water and chemicals used to clean the carpet rather than brush agitation. And when carpets are that saturated for so long, mold and mildew can become a problem. Another problem that arises with Steam Cleaning is that the dirty, oily water left in the carpet after a cleaning sinks down to the bottom of the carpet pad. Then, over time, the oils begin moving back up into the carpet, causing stains to reappear. This process is called wick back, and it’s never fun to deal with.

Oxi Fresh avoids these problems with its carpet cleaning services by using the power of oxygen to clean, rather than tons of water and chemicals. This means that you avoid over-saturation that can lead to mold and mildew, and instead have a fast, one hour dry time. Plus, our cleaning system doesn’t create dirty, oily water, instead it breaks up dirt and oils and makes them easy to scrub out of the carpet. This not only means that you don’t have to worry about wick back, but that you also get a thorough cleaning with amazing stain removal results.

You have to admit, its good marketing!

meh. that's the bit i was reading but it wasn't 100% clear what they do differently. they must use water as the carpets are left wet, but just dry within an hour. i leave some dry in less time then that and they probably have some clause saying could be dry up to 24 hours somewhere on their site. our cleaning systems breaks up dirt and oil making them easy to scrub out of the carpets aswell don't they?

I think that's the idea we were sold on, now you need extra 'O'.

What they do is add an extra bucket of 'O' in the mix when they make their water at the water making plant. It's all clever stuff.

LOL, good spot. I suppose what that should read is "Mold and Mildew are always a problem."  ;D.

So when are you adding fizzy water to your outfit?

Just wondering if they have an Ozone machine injecting into the solution line. Think Amtech did a machine like this a while ago.

I believe they use Pile Lifters to get deep down cleaning, aparantly they only use about 2 gallons of water for an average sized carpet.

Guess the less water used is going to appeal to a lot..
