hi all.
just been having a look through previous threads about microsplitters and wondered if they would improve my results
i currently pre spray with citrus pre spray (alltec) and then extract with ultimate master (alltec) i use a extracta excell with there scrubba tool.
if i replace the pre spray with microsplitters will i see a difference?
also iv read that m/s need agitation prior to extraction would it be ok to just use the scrubba?

M/S over detergents, as far as end results are concerned, is an argument too far....  I beleive that you can acheive good results with both and that there is little or no difference if done properly.  But then you have the argument of residue with detergents and crysalisation with M/S which I'm not getting into.


M/S will make the job easier. presray, agitate, extract with fresh water - nothing simpler.

Regarding the extracta excell for agitation, I don't now this bit of kit, some of the old timers, i'm sure, will correct me if i'm wrong but if it agitates, it will work.

it does aggitate but extracts at the same time i didnt know if i would have to aggitate and then extract with a sebo duo or carpet brush etc.

Hi Guys,

The detergent part of the usual formulation which wets out and suspends the dirt is not present with MS and this has to be replaced by agitation.

It's possible the scrubba will do the agitation and extraction all in one go , but you may have to repeat the process several times on dirty bits.

There's only one way to really find out and that's to give it a go.
