My 300gpd RO-Man has a pump on it but I could really do with changing to one of these if they work

I'm gonna resurrect this topic.  A friend of mine has one of these pumps and is really impressed with it.  It somehow uses the waste water to increase the productivity of the RO both increased flow and lowered TDS.  I suppose a bit like a turbo on a car engine.  He has noticed a marked improvement.

I'm just wondering if there is anything like this for bigger RO units like the 4040?

I tried buying a permeate pump a few years ago when I had a smaller RO.
I found one advertised on the internet and emailed the company that were based in Germany but they emailed me back and were out of stock and didn't know when they would have any more. 
So I didn't follow it up.
They are supposed to work well though from what I've heard but seem hard to get hold of from this country.
