Hi Bob that is higher than some, HOWEVER you need to take into account what is being covered.

you can have basic PL insurance or specialist cleaning PL insurance that will cover the glass your working on etc..

if it's the latter then thats not too bad, do you need 5 mil ?  - go for 2 mil it's about a quarter cheaper and if you
then have it increased for a specific job

Dont forget you can always increase the limit from £1m to £2m or £5m at any time.

H20se.  You'll have me lynched.

I just wanted to clarify that it was his son working for him hence it being so cheap as Employers Liability cover isnt required.  It wouldnt normally be £180.

If anyone does beat our price then they are almost certainly not giving the cover for damage to property being worked upon, whether you want that or not is down to the individual.

Please feel free to ring us for any advice. 0845 474 0068 or 01257 424420.

I have mine with AXA, I have cover for property being worked on HOWEVER the excess for a claim on "property being worked on" is £500! It would have to be a descent claim to make it worth while.

It's for 1 million & it's £65 per year. It's not a top notch policy I wouldn't think.

I will check Gleaming out next time as I feel they know their stuff! ;)

Im not with gleaming insurance but tbh for the price its pritty good because they insure you for conny roof cleaning fasica soffits etc wfp and ladders all in one go!

For houses id say 2mil is enough and its only a little more than 1 mill i am looking to move to them when my renew comes up
