How Much Time Will New Employee Save?
« on: April 03, 2011, 03:06:02 pm »
Hi Guys

I have built up my round now to 6 full days per week with a mix of fortnightly work and monthly work. I am currently putting prices up in a bid earn more from the round and dump all of the messers and bad payers. Im also looking at changing a few fortnightly rounds to monthly to free up more days so i can continue to expand the business.

Im looking to take another worker on in the next few weeks and am looking to clean my round in less days. For those of you who have more than one employee how many days a week should i expect to save?

The two of us are working 6 days so am i being unrealistic thinking three of us could do the work in 4 days?

Thanks in advance

i;ve just taken on a new guy.  he started last monday.  i;d just say do not underestimate how much longer it will take while training them.  we had 2x 12hr days last week, and still missed 3 cleans on 1 of them.  ended the week 10 cleans behind (it was a week of 1st cleans).  in the long run it will pay off, but i reckon itll take a month for him to get up to speed...
