Stu,

Not sure if it will work the same but i just created a busines page on facebook, all i did was copied the page address, and then signed into my private facebook account, and pasted the business page address in and posted it as my status. It sent it out as my business page. As i said, i just chanced it not knowing it would work..lol

God luck,

Matt

I used to have a business page but I was told a group would be better, but it doesn't seem like it to me.

Ahhhhh, sorry Stu, i thought you meant.....well, nevermind. What website program are you using?

Basically, facebook give you codes to put the ''like'' button on your website, or a ''reccomend'' button.. so aslong as you can enter html code into your site, you should be able to do it quite easily.

Stu,

http://developers.facebook.com/docs/reference/plugins/like/

Scroll down abit, and there is a box called ''verb to display''....change that from like to recommend. Have a play round with the settings and you can change the look of the button..

Enjoy.

I have like boxes, like buttons, comment boxes, activity streams etc etc on my wifes website www.meadowsorganic.com I've even got a shop app (free!) running on her facebook page!

I really think facebook is a valuable tool,.. once someone clicks the "Like" button they become a captive audience. Every time you post on your wall or upload a pic, ALL of your fans see it. It feels a bit like spam mailing, except people actually want to receive it & they pay attention to it!!

Look for the social app  ;) far better than just a like button as becomes viral = free advertising :)
