I lost mine about 2 years ago, still do the other shops on either side and every time i go past they have just put another poster up with even more tape. If i do get it back it'll take an hour just to scrape a dozen rolls of tape off ::) ::) ::)

Yep did notice that, I can't do the insides anyway as they don't clear the floor space, but yes they definitely try to hide the dirt with posters ??? the manager was out with a blunt wallpaper scraper trying to remove the tape when I was there ;D I told him it would scratch and low and behold it did ;D I don't have a feeling I will have the job long though, I am sure they wanted it cleaned up for a visit then the novelty will wear off ???

I don't get involved unless i'm cleaning for them.

I learnt that when iceland went national years ago and the manager asked me to provide him with a scraper and he paid me out of petty cash, for which we both signed.
2 weeks later i see him with his arm in a pot-severed the tendons in his thumb using the scraper and needed 3 opps to sort it out, felt really sorry for the guy as he was doing what he thought best for the company ::)

Then the b*****d (prompted by the company) tried to claim of me for injuries due to me not training him to use it :o

Ended up at court and they decided to drop it when my solicitor showed them the signed petty cash ticket,
they were trying to recover the sick pay and the relief manager wages they had to pay while the guy was off sick.
I still see the guy from time to time and he never got full use of his thumb back, but at the end of the day I didn't ask him to scrape the glass :-\
Lesson learnt- DO NOT SUPPLY OR LEND ANY GEAR TO ANY ONE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES!!!!

Only last week a painter asked if he could borrow my 4meter double to reach some facia boards, he came across as a smashing bloke and i was nearly tempted but when i thought back decided against it.

Turned out he wasn't that nice when i told him no and got a mouth full of abuse off him ::)

So, he was masking what he was really like? Glossing over the facts?
