How much water to clean a 3 bed semi
« on: March 31, 2011, 01:41:18 pm »
hi

just a quick question roughly how much water do you use on a 2-3 bed semi 4-5 windows upstairs plus 3 windows downstairs patio door and front door.

i have two pencil jets and no tap on the pole just e-z conectors so im going to get a aquadapter soon to make the water last longer but im using about 20 ltrs.

just wanted to know if im using to much or not, im still new so just need to work at it but i want to have a rough idea of what is normal for this size house.

thanks paul

mate i told you this yesterday.

you will get 3 - 4 average sized houses done with one fill of the backpack - TOPS ONLY.

Prob sasy 2 houses on the first cleans tho...

say have 5 barrells on the motor and you should get a days work in easy.

Thats fine i just looking for a ball park number to aim for which going by what you say is around 2 3-4 bed semis per 25ltr drum

going to order the aqua dapter next week that should save a few ltrs per house and maybe turn the flow down from 40 to 30/35 on my purefreedom trolley  ;)

it doesnt save much water mate, we have them.

yes they work well and easy to use/well built

but id say the main usp on these are the fact you dont get water all over the building as much....

There is enough to think about with wfp without having to worry about making the water last, just make sure you have more than you need.Theres always something extra to rinse off and a bird attack will use up nearly a house worth on one window.I dont know how much i use and therefore i don`t have to think about it.
