has anybody sent out a proper news letter to there custy,telling them about price increase and what other services they offer,ie recommend a friend upvc cleaning,gutter cleaning etc

Why not just tell your custy face to face or phone them?
In my experience they prefer that and most never moan because you can explain the reasons.

iv just done one offering new payment methods, offering services, thanking them, apologising for delays over winter etc asking them too forward there mobile numbers for text alerts, seemed to go down well cost a fortune in stamps but iv picked up work from them to cover the costs

we have not bothered with news letters this year.

instead we have spoke to them in person...

goes something like this:

we are now taking bookings for any extra add on work eg conservatory roofs, gutter fascia  .....

we tell the customer if 3 or more customers in the area have work done we give a group discount.

after yesterday: we have managed to get every single customer with con roofs to have them cleaned = 97 con roofs!

prob priced around: lowest = £30 highest = £110

ok face to face but theres a few things that i need to get across,ie that we do gutter cleans,roof cleans also that we do recommend a friend,as we are now building up to a new level.

and alos that we are now in a persion to take payment by paypal and direct debit.
also i inten to leave a sheet asking custys to fill out all there details to update are database,so full name address,post code telephone,mobile,email etc.

and as said before some of my custy i never see.thanks for your help

maybe its worth going to printmarketuk??

or change your 'windows cleaned' card? change them to a5 size and get your point across that way?
