Pump hose to hosereel connectors
« on: March 25, 2011, 04:46:23 pm »
I use half inch hose between my pump and hose reel and use a gardena (hoselock type) connector at the reel intake point as they seem to last much longer before popping off and filling my van!

1. Do you know where to get them? B and Q Bristol don't seem to have them anymore.

2. What do you use for this connection and where do you get them?

Thanks.

im not sure if this is what you mean but this is what i use to connect the pump to the hose reel.

http://www.gardinerpolesystems.co.uk/acatalog/Standard_Plastic_End_Stops_etc.html

the brass swivel elbox at the bottom of the page, and the orange plastic hose lock connectors at the top of the page.

Yeah I agree with Lee, the swivel elbow for the hosereel is what you need.
Well worth every penny because it stops the hose connection popping off your reel and also stops the leaks.
