Some customers
« on: March 22, 2011, 09:03:55 pm »
I was phone to arrange a clean tomorrow and she said not for another month shes skint, but when i went last first clean she said she wanted them done 6 wky and complained her old window cleaner didn't turn up or ever let her know when he was coming.
It was an inside and out worth £45 should i just leave it to her to ring me in a month or should i ring her in a month? or just forget it.

Yeah the job last time was very hard work she even had me getting on the roof to do one velux without me knowing it could be done from inside, im slowly building my round i surpose we all have to work out the good and the bad, but mostly they are all good.

theres a lot of them who make out its the old windys fault,'he just stopped turning up', but some make it to hard for windys they aint going tell you they were a bad payer,we've all had it i had 1 i was doing the second clean on and knocked for money she said next time 2 months,i just said ok then, got back to my van a rubbed her address off my list not worth the hassle,so im sure next time she finds a new windy she will say the same to him,'he just stopped turning up

I always ring them  so i dont waste fuel getting there, they leave the money if their out and the oaps really like it to know when we are coming, also i dont want to do the house and not get paid, this system works great with all my other customers.

I had a 'not today' today. I told him I couldnt sustain a business if thats how my customers are and that he can consider himself cancelled. Its the second time in 3 visits he's tried it, I tolerated it the first time but thats enough for me.

In answer to the original question, don't go back to clean her property. This type of customer or even potential customer is the worst kind to have on the books. You will forever be wondering if she is going to want you or not. Even if you are building a customer base, this is not the type you want or need.

We had one ring up today - last had them done last August and said she'd ring when they were dirty.....
trying to decide whether not to bother or to charge her double the price to scrape all the dirt off as they are leaded and she won't have wfp......
Think I won't bother actually  ;D
