yes and for around 10 mins before each fill. I also flush mine even if am having few days off to keep the membrane wet you dont want it drying out

I only flush mine for 5 mins or so after every 1000 litres made. This is about every 5 days or so. That's all I've done for 2 years nearly.

Most RO membranes perform better after they have been running for a bit, also its not good for them to have high pressure shoved into them in one go. With that in mind i generally start mine on flush for 10 mins and then close up to production level. I will very often flush for 10-15 mins after i finish production too. Flushing is the only thing that can preserve your RO from fouling so its important to do it often.
