« on: March 15, 2011, 10:31:50 pm »
bought myself a rotary of ebay  victor sprite 400 super speed  only cost me £150 so bit of a bargain as it came with a gumati polishing brush and few tan pads and is in perfect condition looks like new as was only used in a B & B to clean 10 sq m of slate tice a year  . will using to scrub and polish hard floors  my question is can i use this or is it too fast on low profile carpet tiles .

I think it'll be too fast. I'm sure that's the one I had.... ???

Nice buy but too fast really for scrubbing and carpet work.

This machine is ideally for burnishing acrylic or wax floor finishes.

anything with a speed of above roughly 175rpm is likely to be too fast.

I use 380 rpm on carpets , have done for 18 years ,  no damage done .

Why do people always say it is so fast ?
I clean carpets
I dry Buildings
