« on: March 14, 2011, 08:12:49 am »
Just wanted to see how big are most peoples rounds ?
And also what's a safe enough round to make ok money.

I'm juggling it with another job until it builds up into a decent enough round ..

Cheers guys Gary

We've got 6 areas for domestic work. The smallest takes 2 days, the biggest takes 4 to 5 days. All 6 weekly.
Some small com work, and about 1000 to 1500 worth of carpet & upholstery cleaning work a month.
We are in this game for the free time and enough money. ;)

My round is really small compared to other WC's I think. I have about 100 regular clients and 25 once twice a year. I only concentrate on big houses as so as I get another big house I dump a smaller house. This is my business plan which is much slower than others but ultimately gives me more time off, less travel time, less paperwork but more importantly more money and much higher rate per hour. It does not work for everyone and some people think I am mad.
You just need to build your round to your needs. If you are happy with £10K or 100K+ its totally up to you! Thats the beauty of WC ing.
