Well, I must be mad because I always insist they take the change. Did it yesterday. First clean at £18. He gave me £20 and said don't worry about the change. I told him "no, I said it'll be £18 and that's what I'll charge". That's our relationship on a good, professional level right from the start, so that's the way it'll work from now on.Vin

That's our relationship on a good, professional level right from the start, so that's the way it'll work from now on.Vin thats the point i was trying to get over when i started this post. i wasnt talking about trying to fleece anybody, as i ALWAYS give folk their change. i was just thinking that a fair proportion of society WANT to give a tip,and it could be encouraged ,in a subtle way . im talking about the section of society who are offended when offered 20p pieces as change personally,i get a tad offended when im paid with small coins ,especially coppers! but im not so offended to say to them ,"keep it."
