just T-CUT my van!
« on: March 11, 2011, 12:40:36 pm »
its going in for an MOT monday morning as ive had a bit of time of my hands i thought id empty it out/take ladders off and give it a good clean inside and out.checked the tyres and lights etc.

anyway i thought id get some T CUT and give it a good polish.also i touched up the odd rust spot yesterday.

IT LOOKS FANTASTIC!! ;D ;D ;D

especially now ive got my new bigger van signs on now!

it took me a few hours to polish it but with a new top stereo in as well ive pimped my ride!!!

its 10 years old but looks about 5 years old now! :D :D :D :D

it came with a private plate on it as well when i bought it.its amazing what a bit of TLC can do for an old van!!! ;) ;D ;D

sorry cant get pics to upload!! >:( >:(

t-cut does wonders, and a machine polisher can make it look like new, as the guy above says, make sure you seal it or put a wax over the top, or you will be t-cutting again in a couple of weeks mate

I used to think I was anal over my vehicles til I signed up there. Would love to get into it properly, would be a nice skill/knowledge for me, as have been in and around cars all my life.

I have half a garage full of goodies  ;D A huge pile of polishes, cutting pads, waxes DAS6 polishing stuff..... I got a little busy with it all a year or two back.  Then went on to SMART for a while (still have to finish my Jag  :() and then had a crack at PDR.

Personally I think SMART is harder than PDR no one else does though  ;D

I just got so fed-up as I have a very long and overgrown drive and need to build a car port to stop the sap from the trees ruining all my hard work  ;D

If you're near Dartford you can pop over and have a play with my Paint Depth Gauge  :o
