Its been said before this was Jeff Brimbles idea origonally, I adopted this myself about 4yrs ago, I get them from a local cycle shop for £1.25

Thanks ! I also reccomended super flexible Algarde silicon type  hose about the same time £30 roll. Convert it with spear fittings  :)

i use the black airline hose 4mm x 6mm for my poles saves a bit extra weight.
