Biro on leather

Hi all,


This is not for a customer as i don't do leather! well not clean it anyway! ;D

My nephews g/f's child as drawn over there suite so i was just looking for some ideas!

yes colin do quite a lot mostly full colour restoration   dont mess around with too many minor repairs as generally speaking people are not prepared to pay for what seems to them to be a simple task . I really enjoy the restoration side of leather.

Car interiors are very big business at the moment and a lucrative part of the market as a poor interior will reduce the resale value of the car.

Understanding what you are doing and what you may not want to do to the leather may help, identification of the leather is first, if he uses a solvent then on some leather it may take the top coat finish from the leather therefore leaving it without any protection and it will re soil quickly and the dye may even peel off.

LTT sell an ink stick I would use that, hair spray is too uncontrollable, petroleum jelly is another but using the correct solution for the job will yield the best results.
