i only lose proberly 2-3 weeks with bad weather like when we have the big freezes,but other than that i lose the odd days but can catch it back up anyway

I lost about five weeks over the freeze. I was out for a total of 1 1/2 days in December because when it wasn't snowing, the temperatures were negative all day... It was a bit of a nightmare to put it mildly.

Since 4th Jan this year when I started back after Xmas, have lost half a day due to torrential rain. Last year from memory about 2 weeks in Jan and then 10 days in Dec. Probably about 3 days rest of year due to very heavy rain. Don't know how you make a living in Scotland.
