I always reset my mileage when I fill up, I only ever used to put in £30 at a time. Time before last fill up I got 174 miles from my £30 (was 220-230 a couple of months back), this time, with not carrying ladders unless necessary and then only 2 sections of my triple, I got 197 miles from it. I am now having to put in £35 a time, which really gets my goat!
So I now take ladders off if I know I am not going to need them, and I also tend to drive steadier and accelerate slower, I am also going to pump the tyres up a bit harder tomorrow morning.
It is imperative that I use as little fuel as possible, the costs could become a right pain in the arse very soon if you don't change your fuel wasting habits.
