im cleaning windows with 002 at the moment with no problems i have been told on here that you can work upto 010. i have a new di filter on order with gardiners so when it gets here i will change it, i bought the system new from purefreedom and it has always read between 003-002 i think i killed the di when i first used the ro system ooppps  ;D

no ro???? have you checked how hard your water is?? if its above say 100 straight from your tap then you need an ro before di...

i would if your made water is below 10 then its ok for the regualr cleans... it may spot but prob wont be visiable to the eye...

best resin by far is tulsion - from daqua or purefreedom mate.

There is no magic number with regard to TDS readings.  000 simply means there is less than 1 part per million dissolved solids in the water - it does not mean this is the 'correct' reading for cleaning windows.

We use water up to 010 before we change resin and never have any 'impure' water related problems.  I have used it up to 018 without problems.  The answer is try it and see - what works for some may not work for others.

Don't be fooled by people telling you the water is no good if it has a reading higher than 000.  The reading is too high if there is enough contamination in the water to show as spots after the water has evaporated - what that reading is no-one can tell you with authority, all anyone can say is that it needs to be much purer than the stuff that comes out of the tap!!

I did two jobs a few weeks back with 028 reading, naughty me I know, one was spotless the other was shocking as I did both inside I could see the results so as Ian says it depends on the job, but as most have said I reckon no more than 010 should be fine
