I used one 20 years or so ago and they were brilliant my boss showed it me on a nylon looped carpet and it pulled a row of tuft out, the same company used to make a Rug Badger style mobile beater.

I have one in the workshop but it needs a new outer canvas bag, have never been able to source one. Any ideas?

It's a good machine, perfect for commercial work and built for the job. They are still available new in the US http://www.cleanfreak.com/Qstore/p001187.htm but I can't find a UK supplier. It's a long way for me but for anyone in Cheshire could be a bargain ;D
