That's great! I've been looking for some 11mm OD minibore for ages! Everyone elses seems to be 12.5/13mm OD.

Doesn't sound much but it makes a huge difference with 100m on a reel! ;)

Probably because they don't spend 5 hours a day, every day, trawling window cleaning forums like us & so aren't blessed with the correct "street terminology"! ;D

Not according to Gardiners -
http://www.gardinerpolesystems.co.uk/acatalog/Hoses.html

I've got both types of hoses myself and microbore is definitely an ID of 6mm. Minibore is an ID of 8mm.

Calm down ;D

Who wrote the rules?

"Generally",  6mm ID hose is referred to as "microbore"  &  8mm ID as "minibore"

BUT, I'm sure it will not be in the dictionary! ;D

They state the actual dimentions, who cares what "they" call it!

Because it's confusing to those not in the know if those selling the stuff start farting around changing the names of everything  ;)
